- Brad Lander The Director of the Pratt Center for Community Development has been at the forefront of every major development fight in the city for the past 15 years. But Lander, 38, is no mere fist-raiser; he speaks on planning issues around the country and has raised more than $60,000 [now over $100,000] for an '09 council run. Politicos say he would bring a rare level of thoughtfulness and intelligence to the council.
